Netflix's highly anticipated live-action adaptation of One Piece has just released its first trailer, and fans of the anime are buzzing with excitement. It was only a short while ago that the world caught a glimpse of Monkey D. Luffy brought to life by Netflix, and now, in August, the Straw Hat crew is poised to embark on their thrilling live-action adventure. The trailer offers a tantalizing glimpse of what's to come, including an original fight sequence that has long been on fans' wish lists.

The trailer for Netflix's One Piece briefly showcases an exhilarating moment where Zoro engages in combat. Utilizing his formidable Three Sword Style, Zoro is shown effortlessly dispatching an opponent, and to the delight of fans, that adversary is revealed to be none other than... Mr. 7.

Yes, that's correct. Mr. 7 is finally going to make an appearance in One Piece. The manga hinted at Zoro's clash with the frontier agent, but unfortunately, we were left without witnessing it. All we were informed was that Zoro emerged victorious against the Baroque Works agent, as Mr. 7 mistakenly believed it would be a clever tactic to coerce Zoro into joining his gang.

Clearly, Mr. 7's plans did not unfold as intended because Zoro emerged victorious in their encounter. Subsequently, after being apprehended by the Marines and tied to a pole, the swordsman crossed paths with Luffy. From that point forward, we are familiar with Zoro's journey, but many details about his early days remain shrouded in mystery. However, it appears that Netflix's One Piece adaptation will shed light on one of these gaps by bringing the epic clash between Zoro and Mr. 7 to life. Hopefully, this additional scene is just one of several exciting new additions.

If you're eager to watch Netflix's One Piece when it premieres, the series is set to launch this August. As for the One Piece anime, it continues to unfold and can be enjoyed through platforms like Hulu or Crunchyroll. The manga is also actively releasing new chapters on a weekly basis, as Eiichiro Oda initiated the series' final act a few months ago. To delve into the One Piece manga, you can access it through the Shonen Jump app. For more information on the series, feel free to read its official synopsis below:
