Doctor Who Reveals New Look at Ncuti Gatwa's Fifteenth Doctor



Doctor Who fans are eagerly anticipating the introduction of a new version of the beloved Doctor, portrayed by Ncuti Gatwa, known for his roles in "Sex Education" and "Barbie." Although there isn't much information available about Doctor Who Season 14, it has been revealed that the season will be preceded by a special featuring David Tennant returning as the fourteenth Doctor, alongside Gatwa in a different role. To complete the ensemble, he sports a cool cowboy hat that perfectly complements this unique interpretation of Doctor Who. When will Doctor Who return?

Adding to the excitement, Doctor Who is set to mark its 60th anniversary with three special episodes scheduled to debut in November 2023, featuring David Tennant as the Fourteenth Doctor. These anniversary specials will be the first Doctor Who content to stream on Disney+ as part of an exciting new international streaming deal. Following the anniversary specials, Doctor Who Season 14, starring Gatwa as the Doctor and Millie Gibson as the new companion Ruby Sunday, is expected to premiere in 2024. The BBC and Disney have also announced a plan to "transform Doctor Who into a global franchise for UK audiences and the rest of the world," shortly after the final episode of Chris Chibnall and Jodie Whittaker's tenure.
