Final Fantasy 16 Has Already Sold 3 Million Copies But Lags Behind Previous Games

 

Final Fantasy 16 has achieved a significant milestone within its first week of release, according to Square Enix. The latest installment in the beloved franchise has already surpassed three million copies sold, solidifying its success. However, when comparing the sales performance to the previous two games in the series, Final Fantasy XV and Final Fantasy VII: Remake, there are a few key factors to consider.

In terms of raw numbers, Final Fantasy 16 falls behind both Final Fantasy XV and Final Fantasy VII: Remake. The latter achieved the three million mark in just three days, while the former reached five million on its launch day. Nevertheless, this comparison alone doesn't provide the complete picture.
