Haikyuu Hypes Anime Finale Event With New Poster



Haikyuu!! fans will soon bid farewell to the anime franchise as it returns with a final set of feature films, bringing the series to a close. The upcoming series finale is being celebrated with a new poster for the farewell party, building anticipation for the conclusion. While Haikyuu Season 4 concluded some time ago, fans have eagerly awaited news about a potential fifth season. With Haurichi Furudate's original Haikyuu manga series also reaching its conclusion, the roadmap for the anime's grand finale has been laid out, albeit in the form of two more movies instead of multiple seasons.


As of now, the release date for the anime's finale has yet to be revealed. However, an exciting update is expected at the upcoming event dedicated to hyping up the ending of Haikyuu!! FINAL, the two-feature film project. The event, Haikyu!! Festa 2023 -Great Farewell Party-, will take place on September 24th in Japan. It will feature members of the anime's cast reading an original script penned by the manga's creator, Haruichi Furudate. What Is Haikyuu!! FINAL?

Initially teased as the "next" and "final" chapter in the Haikyuu anime franchise, Haikyuu!! Final will showcase animation by Production I.G. However, specific release dates for these new movies or which arcs from the manga's final chapters they will adapt have not been disclosed as of the current time. If you wish to immerse yourself in Haikyuu ahead of the anime's grand finale, the complete manga series is now available in Viz Media's digital Shonen Jump library through a paid subscription. Furthermore, HIDIVE and Crunchyroll offer streaming options for the four anime seasons, movies, and OAD specials.


The anime adaptation of Haikyuu is often described as follows: "Based off of the original Weekly Shonen Jump manga series from Haruichi Furudate, Haikyu!! is a slice-of-life sports anime revolving around Shoyo Hinata's love of volleyball. Inspired by a small-statured pro volleyball player, Hinata creates a volleyball team in his last year of middle school. Unfortunately the team is matched up against the "King of the Court" Tobio Kageyama's team in their first tournament and inevitably lose. After the crushing defeat, Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama After entering high school, Hinata joins the volleyball team only to find that Tobio has also joined."
