One Piece Theory: Cross Guild Will Recruit All the Other Warlords

One Piece has been generating a lot of excitement in recent weeks, with the anime reaching new heights in terms of quality and popularity. The manga, too, has been delivering thrilling moments that have captivated readers. Surprisingly, the focus has shifted away from the Straw Hats and onto other characters, adding an extra layer of intrigue.

One faction that has emerged as a prominent player is the Cross Guild, led by Mihawk, Sir Crocodile, and Buggy. Comprising former Warlords, this group has gained notoriety as a formidable force in their own right. In a surprising turn of events, Buggy has even risen to the ranks of the Yonko. However, their recent aspirations have taken an unexpected turn, as they now seek to acquire more power and resources by setting their sights on the ultimate treasure, the One Piece. Interestingly, their best chance of achieving these goals lies in recruiting their former comrades.

One Piece's Warlords Need Cross Guild

The "Reverie" arc brought about significant changes, and one of the most noteworthy was the disbandment of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. While the Warlord system had been teetering on the edge for some time, it had provided substantial benefits to those affiliated with it. It granted these pirates the freedom to act as they pleased without the fear of reprisal from the Navy or World Government. However, following the system's demise, the former Warlords have become targets for other major players, leaving them vulnerable.

Blackbeard and his crew attacked and decimated the forces of Gecko Moria, Boa Hancock, and even Trafalgar Law. Weevil and Doflamingo were both apprehended by the World Government, with the latter being captured prior to the events of the Reverie arc. Bartholomew Kuma, on the other hand, has endured unimaginable suffering, having been subjected to the whims of the Celestial Dragons as their slave. Although he was eventually rescued by the Revolutionary Army, he now mysteriously embarks on a journey to climb the Red Line. Among the former Warlords, only Jinbe and Blackbeard have fared well, with the former becoming a member of a Yonko's crew and the latter ascending to the position of a Yonko himself.

Given the current circumstances, joining the Cross Guild would provide the majority of ex-Warlords with the optimal solution. The Cross Guild possesses ample resources and formidable strength, making it an even more formidable force to be reckoned with. Even Blackbeard and Shanks would have to think twice before launching an attack. Joining the Cross Guild not only ensures security but also presents an opportunity to fulfill their desires. Doflamingo and Weevil would attain their long-awaited freedom, while Moria, Hancock, and Law would have the chance to seek revenge against Blackbeard, as the Cross Guild has set its sights on the One Piece. The organization was founded on the principle of fostering a mutually beneficial relationship among ex-Warlords, making it an ideal fit for others seeking refuge.

Cross Guild Needs One Piece's Warlords

As renowned as the organization is, Cross Guild recognizes the need to strengthen its ranks and bolster its financial resources in order to compete with other Yonko crews. The leaders of Cross Guild have acknowledged this reality, making it an obvious choice to recruit the other former Warlords. While most of them may not possess significant wealth at present, their considerable power can be harnessed to help the organization amass more resources. Hancock, a formidable pirate, commands the entire army of Amazon Lily, which would not only augment Cross Guild's fighting force but also enhance their overall combat prowess. Moria's expertise in creating and controlling a zombie army could prove invaluable to the organization's objectives.

Law and Weevil, while not directly contributing to Cross Guild's forces, bring immense value through their own formidable abilities. Law has demonstrated his capacity to hold his own against two Yonkos simultaneously, albeit with assistance from allies, while Weevil's strength reportedly rivals that of Whitebeard in his prime. Among the ex-Warlords, Doflamingo would arguably be the most advantageous addition, particularly concerning Cross Guild's financial situation. Known as "Joker" in the criminal underworld, Doflamingo possesses exceptional business acumen and an extensive network of connections that could address Cross Guild's fiscal challenges. Furthermore, his lineage as a Celestial Dragon grants him access to exclusive information, including the location of a concealed treasure sought by the Celestial Dragons. Integrating Doflamingo into Cross Guild's ranks could potentially resolve the organization's financial predicaments.

Although these conjectures are speculative, the alignment of the Warlords' circumstances seems too coincidental to ignore, thereby hinting at the formation of a group comprising former Warlords. Their shared objectives further strengthen this notion. Given that the series appears to be building towards a major conflict involving various organizations and groups, the inclusion of Cross Guild in this narrative would undoubtedly inject excitement and intrigue into the story.
