A Playthrough of a Certain Dude’s VRMMO Reveals New Cast and Staff, Alongside Second Promo Video



The highly anticipated TV anime "A Playthrough of a Certain Dude’s VRMMO Life" has unveiled an exciting new key visual and PV trailer, courtesy of the production team. Fans can now look forward to the series' premiere, scheduled for this October 2023.

The upcoming TV anime "A Playthrough of a Certain Dude’s VRMMO Life" has assembled a talented and experienced staff to bring the series to life. The sub-character design will be handled by Miyako Nishida, known for their work in "Uchi no Ko no Tame naraba, Ore wa Moshikashitara Maou mo Taoseru kamo Shirenai." Joining them is Kaori Yamazaki, known for "Hyouken no Majutsushi ga Sekai wo Suberu," and Toshihide Masudate, renowned for the main character design in "100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru." Eri Kojima, Masahiro Kase, Yutaka Akatsu, and Kaho Deguchi will also contribute their expertise in character design.

The art direction will be led by Satoshi Shibata, known for their work on "Akuyaku Reijou nanode Last Boss wo Kattemimashita." Aki Watanabe will handle the color design, having previously worked on "Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni." The director of photography will be Yukina Nomura, known for their work on "100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru," while Masanori Tsuchiya will take on the role of sound director, with notable works including "Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha" and "Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru."

Adding to the excitement, the rock band Saji, known for their contributions to "Tomodachi Game" and "Kageki Shoujo!!," will perform the opening theme for the series. Additionally, Miho Okasaki, who voices Milly in the anime, will showcase her musical talent by performing the ending theme. With such a talented team and promising musical additions, fans can anticipate an immersive and captivating experience when "A Playthrough of a Certain Dude’s VRMMO Life" premieres this October 2023.

The cast for "A Playthrough of a Certain Dude’s VRMMO Life" is filled with talented voice actors ready to breathe life into their respective characters. Shiori Izawa, known for her work in "Made in Abyss," takes on the role of Ryuu-chan, while Ayaka Asai, from "Mairimashita! Iruma-kun," lends her voice to Nora. Tarou Kiuchi, renowned for "Vanitas no Karte," will portray Reiji, and Yuusuke Shirai, from "Sentouin, Hakenshimasu!," brings Kazamine to life. Naomi Oozora, known for her role in "Jahy-sama wa Kujikenai!," voices Rona, and Chitose Morinaga, from "New Game!," takes on the character of Pikasha.







The highly anticipated anime adaptation of the action fantasy novel penned by Howahowa Shiina is under the capable direction of Yuuichi Nakazawa, known for his work as the animation director in "Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!" Maho Film is taking charge of the animation production for the series, ensuring a visually stunning and engaging experience for viewers. The series composition is skillfully handled by Touko Machida, acclaimed for her work on "Saikyou Onmyouji no Isekai Tenseiki."

The main character designs are brought to life by the talented duo of Yuuko Watabe, known for "Glass no Kantai," and Yuuko Ooba, recognized for their work in "Akuyaku Reijou nanode Last Boss wo Kattemimashita." With such experienced character designers on board, the characters' visual appeal and individuality are sure to shine.

Complementing the captivating visuals, the music for the anime is composed by Technoboys Pulcraft Green-Fund, celebrated for their work in "Trinity Seven."








The original action fantasy novel debuted on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in January 2013 before relocating to AlphaPolis' website in August 2016. AlphaPolis later acquired the novel and released the first volume in February 2014, featuring illustrations by Yamaada. With a continuous journey, the 27th volume was published on March 1, marking the novel's enduring popularity and engaging narrative.

In addition to the novel, a manga adaptation by Shuusai Rikudou has been captivating readers since June 2014 on AlphaPolis Web Manga. The tenth volume was recently released on February 28, offering an alternative way to delve into the action-packed world of Howahowa Shiina's captivating fantasy universe.
