Teaser Trailer Released for The Fable Anime Adaptation

The highly anticipated TV anime adaptation of Minami Katsuhisa's beloved manga, "The Fable," has recently unveiled an exciting teaser trailer.

Originally serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine from 2014 to 2019, "The Fable" manga has captured the hearts of readers. Its thrilling storyline and compelling characters have been collected into 22 tankoubon volumes. Following its success, the sequel, "The Fable: The Second Contact," made its debut in 2021 and will soon reach its ninth tankoubon volume on November 6 this year. With a dedicated fan base and a gripping narrative, the anime adaptation is set to bring "The Fable" to life in a whole new dimension.


 





According to Kodansha USA, the plot of "The Fable" is described as follows: "When you’re the infamous “genius killer” hitman The Fable, many things come easy. Being a normal person, however, isn’t one of them. In fact, being told that he can’t kill anyone for a while may just be the hardest job he’s ever taken…"

The highly-anticipated anime adaptation of "The Fable" will be produced by Tezuka Productions, bringing the captivating manga to life on screen. Leading the creative team is director Ryosuke Takahashi, known for his work on "Soukou Kihei Votoms: Koei Futatabi." Overseeing the series composition is Yuuya Takashima, whose previous work includes "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch of Mercury" as a sci-fi researcher. The character designs will be crafted by a talented trio, including Kyuma Oshita, Saki Hasegawa (known for "Aoashi"), and Junichi Hayama (previously worked on "pet").
